Trattamento manipolativo osteopatico (TMO)
Il trattamento manipolativo osteopatico (TMO) non solo migliora lo stato funzionale nei pazienti, riducendo sensibilmente i dolori cronici, acuti e non specifici nella lombalgia cronica aspecifica, ma è efficace anche nel caso di donne in gravidanza, nel post-partum, nello sport, nell’età pediatrica e geriatrica.
Alcuni disturbi di pertinenza osteopatica sono:
Sistema muscolo scheletrico
Tendiniti, contratture muscolari, dolori articolari e muscolari, pubalgie, cervicalgie, dorsalgie, lombalgie, dolori costali o intercostali, coccigodinia, e qualsiasi dolore a seguito di un trauma (sportivo, incidente stradale) etc;

Incontinenza, cistite, prostatite, turbe della menopausa, disturbi del ciclo mestruale, etc;
Sfera otorino laringoiatra (ORL)
Rinite, sinusite cronica, asma, vertigini, cefalee, problemi durante la deglutizione, etc.
Limiti dell’osteopatia
Il campo d’azione dell’Osteopatia esclude tutte le lesioni anatomiche gravi, ma anche tutte le urgenze mediche. In questi casi, non si tratta più di cercare il “punto debole” che ha permesso l’instaurarsi della malattia, ma di agire urgentemente, poiché la patologia in causa non può più essere combattuta con le sole difese dell’organismo.
L’Osteopatia non può guarire le malattie degenerative, le malattie genetiche, le malattie infettive e/o infiammatorie, le fratture.
Tuttavia, anche se l’osteopatia non può avere un’azione su queste affezioni, può avere un’azione sulle conseguenze, in particolare il dolore, con la liberazione delle tensioni delle strutture.
